Chris Taplin
An arts graduate with professional experience as a musician, he was signed to 4AD, Virgin and Heavenly Records, before becoming MD for Ruby (Creation Records). He has subsequently progressed into tour and production management, working with a rosta of contemporary artists, including Tricky, Fun Lovin Criminals, Judas Priest,  Muse, Morcheeba and New Order before starting Shooting Star Productions.

Polly Taplin

Oxford graduate, Sussex postgraduate. As founder of Do Tongues, she won Arts Council awards for her work in beat literature. She’s Kathy Acker’s Pirate Pol, as a baby sat on on Jimi Hendrix’s knee, and her Mum is folksinger Shirley Collins MBE. Since starting Shooting Star, Polly has toured extensively with Chris and produced Patti Smith’s residency at Charleston, Sussex. Author of produced plays Phœbe and Allegra and biographer of Arthur Brown.
